The WSLuM vzw is a founding member of the ONZK (Open North Sea Championship) for yachts.
Together with the KYCN, the WSKLuM vzw organizes the Nieuwpoort Sailing Weekend every year.
The WSKLuM vzw organizes the Albert Jonnart Race, the KYCN vzw organizes the Gilbert Van de Velde Race.

The WSKLuM vzw is also active in the competitive event for dinghies.
Together with the KYCN and the VVW, the WSKLuM vzw organizes the NIEUWPOORTWEEK every year.
The WSKLuM takes care of the course for Cadet and Optimist, while both sister clubs have the remaining classes sailing on a second course.
